Local and regional services
We are currently not discussing stopping existing London Northwestern Railway (West Midlands Trains) services at Daventry Parkway with the train operator (we hope to in the future); however, we are keen on the following:
- All London Northwestern Railway services stopping at Daventry Parkway. This includes all Crewe, Liverpool Lime Street, and London Euston services, as well as any Northampton Loop services rerouted to Daventry Parkway.
- Some Birmingham New Street services transferring to the West Coast Main Line (avoid Northampton), with some Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street services moving to the Northampton Loop.
- A possible extension of current MKC-terminating stopping services to Daventry Parkway; however, this would require a new bay platform at Daventry Parkway/
There is a possibility of CrossCountry rerouting via the West Coast Main Line via Northampton or Daventry Parkway post East West Rail and High Speed Two, meaning direct services to towns and cities such as Bournemouth, Manchester, Reading, Coventry, Wolverhampton, among others.
East West Rail services may also extend to Daventry Parkway and Northampton, as well as new Leicester/Lincoln via Nottingham services delivered by Lutterworth Line (if approved by central Government)
