Sustainable Transport Midlands are considering, in partnership with Network Rail, surveying around the Daventry Parkway proposed area to make sure the station is technically feasible. These discussions are in early stages, but any disruption that may be caused by Daventry Parkway on your day-to-day services on the West Coast Main Line will be reported on this page.

At the moment, Network Rail is carrying out already planned work on the Kilsby Tunnel in January 2022, closing the West Coast Main Line Highspeed lines (avoid Northampton line). This means all traffic will be diverted via Northampton, while maintenance takes place. This may be when Daventry Parkway has it’s examination works complete, meaning no extra disruption to passengers on the Highspeed line.
